Prof. Hijazi, whose particular expertise is in the area of enzymology, the study of enzymes, received his medical education and training in Barcelona, Spain. Currently, Prof. Hijazi&#8217;s main focus is the manipulation of Haemostasis, which is the process regulating the cessation of bleeding and keeping the blood within a damaged blood vessel. Prof. Hijazi experience and innovative research place him as a leading scientist in the field of haemostasis.
